Aizada Karybekova

• In this position, I build out and manage the embassy’s flagship online communities (i.e. social media, website content, video, and photo sharing platforms, and virtual events) and serve to identify, evaluate, and adopt new online communication formats and approaches to attract priority audience segments and to better promote U.S. Government policy and messages. I produce high-quality videos, photos, and other digital materials for the embassy’s social media platforms and advise staff at all levels in the embassy on how to make the best use of digital engagement and strategic content to promote the mission’s policies and interests.
• In this role, I supervise one locally-employed staff, a Community Management Assistant, and two paid interns.
• I also serve as a primary liaison with the embassy’s social media audiences, including influencers and opinion-makers, communication specialists at like-minded international organizations or other embassies in the region, and government representatives and private-sector communities.
• In July 2022, I became a certified Grant Officer’s Representative (GOR) and was appointed as a GOR by an American Grant Officer. Currently, I’m maintaining one of the Embassy’s media grants called “Educated Digital Parents and Healthy Digital Kids” aimed at strengthening the ability of Kyrgyz parents to help their children to use social networks and electronic media in a healthy and responsible way, by creating partnerships between news organizations, social media influencers, and child development experts to provide best practices both online and offline.

My main job responsibilities in this position are listed below:

• Creating graphic designs for videos;
• Directing, filming, and editing TV documentaries, reports, music videos, commercials, and promos;
• Writing screenplays for commercials;
• Editing and processing audio.

In this position, I created more than 200 TV reports, short films, and commercials.

My job responsibilities as a Sound Designer at Kofeinya Morning Radio Talk Show are below:

• Music supervision, sound design, and technical support;
• Audio mixing, editing, and processing;
• Setting up audio signal chain, both hardware, and software;
• Ensuring output audio meets specific standards;
• Managing Kofeinya's social media properties.

• Video editing and post-production;
• Assisting with shooting in-studio and on-location;
• Audio recording, processing, and mastering;
• Software installation.
